om our pure meat range - pure organic goose, just like in nature!

Absolutely GOOSE! We at napani also pay attention to good quality in our own food, so it is a matter of course for us that our animals only get the best in their bowls for the benefit of their health. True to the motto: "your dog is what he eats". We only have one source of meat in each can - and it is gently steam-cooked. This way, as many of the meat's vitamins and minerals as possible are retained. To get a species-appropriate food that meets your needs, mix in our basic food, vital supplements and vital oils. Mixing is possible!

  • from purely organic farming
  • naturally gently cooked
  • Produced CO² neutral
  • alternative to raw meat feeding/ BARF
  • also suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs
  • Monoprotein
  • free from colours, flavours and fillers

For info:

When cooking the meat, which in our case is made up of 90% muscle meat, 5% neck and 5% carcass, meat juice can leak out. Depending on the type of meat used (e.g. young or old animal) and its composition, the contents of the can can look different. Muscle meat consists of connective tissue, among other things, which contains collagen. Tendons and cartilage are also made of collagen. This collagen slowly turns into gelatine during cooking - the soft, slimy mass that you also know from cake icing. This gelatine in turn is responsible for the meat not drying out, but becoming juicier the longer it is cooked.

Since we do not use any binding agents, the consistency is subject to uncontrollable fluctuations. So if there is more meat broth or gelatine in the can, this has nothing to do with the quality. On the contrary, the dogs even love this slimy part.

This is in the can:

  • Goose muscle meat: If a goose is well and correctly fed - hence organic - its meat contains about 1/3 fat. Organic and free-range animals are fed naturally, which results in tasty meat with less fatty tissue. Nevertheless, goose fat is a good source of energy and contains many important monounsaturated fatty acids and about 10 percent polyunsaturated fats such as omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. The darker color of the meat indicates a high proportion of the muscle protein myoglobin. The more an animal moves and the older it gets, the more it produces this iron-containing muscle pigment, which is similar to the red blood pigment hemoglobin and stores oxygen in the muscle tissue. Goose meat therefore contains significantly more of the important trace element iron than chicken meat. But it also contains a large number of amino acids and vitamins (C, B and A).
  • Goose necks (minced): they are very rich in protein and calcium. Calcium is an essential and very important mineral for dogs, as it is responsible for bone and tooth development.
  • Goose carcass (minced): the carcass is the body of the poultry - without legs and wings - and consists of breast, back and inner fillets as well as soft cartilage tissue and skin remnants . The cartilage tissue provides calcium and is rich in natural collagen.
