Our best-selling menu with wild-caught salmon!

Our "Fischers Fritz" menu has been specially developed to provide a healthy and tasty meal for your dog. With our low-purine recipe and mostly organic ingredients, it provides a balanced diet and is therefore also suitable for dogs with special nutritional needs. Our fish menu provides a balanced mix of proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals that contribute to your dog's health and vitality.

Most of the ingredients come from controlled organic farming, which not only ensures the quality of the food but also protects the environment. Through sustainable agriculture and production, we help to reduce the ecological footprint.

We have deliberately chosen wild salmon. In so-called aquaculture (mass livestock farming under water), it is not just the chemicals used (eg pesticides and antibiotics) that are a problem, but also the enormous feed requirements of the predatory fish: two to five kilograms of fish must be fed to produce one kilogram of salmon. As paradoxical as it may sound, aquaculture contributes to overfishing in the oceans.

  • world-conscious: with only 35% fish
  • mainly from organic farming
  • manufactured in Germany and CO2 neutral
  • with ingredients of the highest quality, if possible from the region
  • naturally gently cooked
  • according to our original recipe
  • Low in purines / therefore also suitable as kidney food or for a kidney diet in the case of kidney diseases such as kidney failure & renal insufficiency, supportive in the case of inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), important in the case of leishmaniasis.

Less animal protein in the dog's bowl has many advantages. In fact, the danger of an oversupply of animal protein is much greater than the risk of a protein deficiency. The domestic dog's organism is not prepared for an excess of protein, as would be the case if it were fed exclusively beef muscle meat, for example. A long-term excess of protein puts a strain on the four-legged friend's metabolism and in particular on the kidneys. This is often noticeable in symptoms such as itching, reddened skin (paws) and hair loss (but these symptoms can also have other causes).

A dog needs a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and fiber, plus various minerals and vitamins.

We remain true to our philosophy; we want our products to be as natural as possible, which is why we do not add any oils or vitamins and minerals (so-called premixes > of synthetic origin) to the can.

We therefore recommend adding Oils and Supplements

ONLY COOKING YOURSELF IS BETTER.

This is what's inside - the benefits of the ingredients:

  • Salmon: it contains good fatty acids, including Omega 3. Omega-3 fatty acids can protect against cardiovascular diseases. Salmon also contains minerals that strengthen bones (phosphorus, potassium) and are important for the thyroid (iodine).
  • Cooking liquid: is the water in which all the ingredients were cooked. This is needed for every cooking process (for every canned meal) - but is not declared by many manufacturers.
  • Organic quinoa: this pseudocereal is a very good source of high-quality vegetable protein. Quinoa also contains plenty of iron, folic acid, magnesium, zinc and manganese. It contains all 9 essential amino acids in the optimal ratio.
  • Organic pears: Pears are rich in folic acid, which promotes growth and blood formation. They contain a whole range of B vitamins - these are important for the nerves. The tannins in pears help with inflammation in the gastrointestinal area.
  • Organic carrots:  They contain, for example, some B vitamins, especially vitamins B1, B2 and B6. They also contain vitamin C, which is important for our immune system, and the radical scavenger vitamin E.
  • Organic fennel: the bulb contains significant amounts of vitamins A, K, E, folic acid and beta-carotene. It also contains the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese. Its high vitamin C and iron content is particularly noteworthy. The essential oils support digestion and strengthen the stomach.
  • Organic coconut milk: the medium-chain triglycerides in coconut milk are particularly useful for supplying energy to the lymph nodes and liver.  They can also protect the heart by increasing the level of beneficial HDL cholesterol in the blood.
  • Organic parsley: according to naturopathy, parsley can lower blood sugar levels and relieve cramps. In addition, parsley is considered a high-quality antioxidant, which means it fights free radicals and oxidative stress - one of the main causes of many chronic diseases.
  • Organic rose hips: contain a particularly high amount of vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, i.e. vitamin C, is very important for building bone substance. The vitamin also regulates the body's calcium and phosphorus levels.
  • Algae lime: contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silica) and can therefore prevent a deficiency in minerals and trace elements.
